Planning a booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)? Typical shows follow IAEE-style display rules: about 8–10 ft for inline booths, higher limits for perimeter and island spaces, and hanging signs usually only for peninsula or island booths 400 sq ft or larger. Hanging-sign notes seen at LVCC shows:

  • Usually limited to island and peninsula booths 400 sq ft or larger
  • Linear and perimeter booths generally cannot hang from the ceiling
  • Height is measured from the floor to the top of the sign or truss
  • Caps have varied by hall (examples in past kits: roughly 20–30 ft depending on North / Central / West / South)
  • Double-sided signs are often set back from neighboring booths (commonly 5–10 ft)

Double-deck and covered exhibits almost always need advance drawings plus facility / fire-marshal approval.Labor and I&D at LVCCLas Vegas is generally more flexible than Chicago or New York, but it is not a free-for-all.

  • Small portable and pop-up booths can often be set by full-time exhibitor staff
  • Crated freight, forklifts, pallet jacks, and ceiling rigging usually go through the general contractor or an approved EAC
  • Electrical, hanging signs, and large custom / island builds should be planned as labor jobs, not DIY
  • Advance warehouse vs direct-to-show dates are set by the show, not only LVCC
